Untwine

As I watch the waves gallops towards the shore,
I remember you, our past and more,
Its been years I know and the passion has died,
But the memories linger as the painful goodbye.

Truly I am grateful and full of glee,

That you have found happiness that you will never find in me,
I just wish that when we will ever meet again,
We'll just be strangers, no more than friends.

It is much of a request I know it is,
But this heart should move on even it pleads,
Our lives at last had been untwined,
I'm no longer yours and you're no longer mine.
