Your Lullaby

My thoughts lingers to memories of you,
as I stare at the sky so blue.
Wondering how you are this day,
hoping that we meet again someday.
And hope the flames of passion be renewed.

Let the wind whisper the longing inside,
And the rain wash the pain until it subside.
Let the sun shine on the shadow of the man,
Until the darkness of the night begun.
For the smile can no longer let the loneliness hide.

Remember those days of waves and sand,
As youth is taken away by hours hand.
The footprints made and laughter shared,
For the gray skies and the tears it shed.
For the flowers bloomed on barren land.

Be guided by the stars tonight,
As glow of the moon drive away my fright.
Be safe as I sing this lullaby,
And please don't mind my sighs.
