Fight Another Day

If today, victory seems elusive,
do not fill your eyes with tears,
For tomorrow is a new day,
so throw away your fears,
The future is uncertain,
well it is the truth,
But all will come to pass,
everything,  even our youth.
So let the sun set,
for it bids a day goodbye,
Smile as the stars shine,
and let the night sing its lullaby,
A new hope will come,
as the sun rises from the horizon,
Let the past be the past,
life should always move on.
Do not waste your time,
for deeds that can never be undone,
If today you lose,
your time to win will surely come,
Never feel regret,
for all the mistakes you made,
Experience is an excellent teacher,
with it you'll be saved.
Do not let tears fall,
for your failure today,
Your dreams still will come true,
So live to fight another day,
For if you toil,
your sweat will bail you out,
Take a deep breath now,
and be ready with your victory shout!
Life sucks sometimes, still just keep on rockin'

The Dark Side of the Moon

The moon tonight cast an eerie glow,
Casting long shadows to the earth below,
The stars too seem to lose their light,
That somehow magnify this incoming fright.

The clouds that part seems tired to hide,
The moons forsaken and forgotten side,
Where light seems to have never come,
Where its tale the words were not given but mum.

What hope does the race of mortals have,
When the heavens light the darkness halved,
When the sky returns to its state of dim,
And the world is covered by its share of sin.

Even fools know where that darkness reside,
That even the preachers though futile lie they tried,
Praying deeply for divine intervention,
Heads up high but their mortality they fail to mention.

What does this earth left as a delight?
When everything is being robbed of light,
When hope of absolution seems to slip further away,
Leaving no room for feeling but that of dismay.

How could one find its lost sheep?
When in bed they lay and their slumber too deep,
Waiting until daybreak for the sun to bring its shine,
Failing to care to a treasure, a treasure called time.

When will we stand up and decide?
When all is lost and chance did died?
As we remain idle the light will go out soon,
And then it comes, the dark side of the moon.

The Child I've Been

Its just like yesterday when all is young,
The world is like a picture drawn in the sand,
And the clouds are like cotton candy floating above,
Innocent of hate, all knowledge is love.

As I look back its like light years away,
The last time when fun did came my way,
Back then I see the world in a different view,
When all the colors are all of bright hue.

Is being carefree now a kind of sin?
For I miss so much the child I've been,
When playing in the rain is an act of glee,
When the stars above is a view one must see.

Those moments when I look at the sky,
And wonder if someday I'll have the chance to fly,
To roll in the hills where the grass are green,
And play to the hearts desire until the sun gets dim.

Those are the times that I wish I can return,
To be a child again before I crash and burn,
To have an escape in this excuse called life,
To be free again of hatred, loneliness and strife.
