I've been reading tales of love,
But I fear I can no longer understand,
The pain it cause for a long time I had,
Countless, like piles of sand.
I wonder now if I could feel that way again,
The passion and joy it brings,
The loneliness, longing and the pain,
And the melodyless songs it sings.
I wish that this heart will beat again,
For I fear it died long ago,
Hoping someday love again will reign,
When that will that be, nobody knows.
But I fear I can no longer understand,
The pain it cause for a long time I had,
Countless, like piles of sand.
I wonder now if I could feel that way again,
The passion and joy it brings,
The loneliness, longing and the pain,
And the melodyless songs it sings.
I wish that this heart will beat again,
For I fear it died long ago,
Hoping someday love again will reign,
When that will that be, nobody knows.
